LOS ANGELES — Eddie Rosario tallied four hits, including two homers, as the Braves moved within a win of the World Series with a 9-2 win over the Dodgers in Game 4 of the National League Championship Series on Wednesday night at Dodger Stadium.
Rosario’s ninth-inning home run joined him with Marcell Ozuna as the only Braves to hit a pair of homers in a four-hit game tallied during the postseason. Ozuna did it in Game 4 of last year’s NLCS.
As the Braves gained a 3-1 lead in this best-of-seven series, they weren’t adversely affected by blowing a three-run, eighth-inning lead in Game 3. They scored two runs off Julio Urías in both the second and third innings. Jesse Chavez and Drew Smyly combined to hold the Dodgers hitless until the fifth.
