Logan Paul has hinted that his brother Jake Paul‘s strategy for taking on and beating boxing heavyweight legend Mike Tyson on July 20 is to evade and tire out the 57-year-old. The Problem Child will take on the former heavyweight King, who will be 58 by the time he makes his ring walk, inside the AT&T Stadium in Texas this summer.

The fight will be sanctioned as an exhibition and the result will go on neither Tyson nor Jake Paul’s professional record. It has been suggested that the exhibition will not be scored by official judges and rounds will likely be two minutes in length instead of three and the fighters will wear 16-ounce gloves instead of the traditional 10-ounce gloves.

Tyson last fought in 2020 in an exhibition fight against another boxing legend, Roy Jones Jr. Despite his age, he still possesses devastating knockout power. Jake Paul’s older brother Logan, who also boxed professionally while managing a successful YouTube career, and is now the United States Champion in WWE after retaining his title at WrestleMania 40 against the legendary Randy Orton and Kevin Owens, has given an insight into July’s fight strategy.

While speaking to WWE supremo Triple H on his IMPAULSIVE podcast, Logan Paul revealed what kind of people Jake Paul is sparring. “He [Jake] is going to be sparring guys who fight like Mike,” he said. “I know he’s old but he can hit hard and still fast.”

Triple H pushed back, saying: “If the old Mike Tyson shows up, how do you get past that? He doesn’t need to be there for the old fight, he just needs to be there for five minutes. I don’t know that I wouldn’t just run for two to three rounds and hope that he gets tired.”

Tyson’s age could prove to be a major issue, with Paul 30 years his junior. “Maybe that’s a strategy too, I don’t know!” Logan Paul replied to Triple H.

Despite the fight being an exhibition and pitting a fairly new professional boxer against one of the sport’s best-ever, interest remains high with over 80,000 people expected to pack out the Dallas Cowboys’ stadium this summer. It is also expected to do well on pay-per-view.

“When I first heard that deal and you know I saw the announcement, just like everybody else did, I was like ‘he’s gonna fight Tyson?'” The Game added. “And then just in my mind, I was like ‘oh that’ll be a good pay-per-view, that’d be cool’.”

Logan Paul and Triple H have grown closer as a result of The Maverick’s in-ring performances in WWE. The Ohio-born internet sensation has been one of the best celebrities ever to make the transition into professional wrestling, having competed during his high school days.
