NEW YORK — The NHL has suspended Minnesota salvaje defenseman Carson Soucy for one sport for charging Coyotes de Arizona ahead Conor Garland.

The league’s Division of Participant Security introduced the suspension Wednesday. Soucy will forfeit $23,706.90 primarily based on his common annual wage, with the cash going to the Gamers’ Emergency Help Fund.

Soucy was given a five-minute main for charging Garland within the first interval of Tuesday night time’s Three-Zero win by Minnesota. Soucy left his ft and made contact with Garland’s head.
