Deji Olatunji says his dream fight would be against Justin Bieber on the undercard of his brother KSI’s bout against Jake Paul. Youtuber and rapper KSI beat bitter rival Logan Paul in his first of three professional fights and plans to meet Jake Paul next year in another Paul showdown.
Deji was knocked out by Jake Paul four years ago in his first of three amateur defeats. However, after turning professional this year the Youtuber beat Fousey by knockout. He will take on boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr in an exhibition bout on Sunday which could make a reported £22million.
Promoter Kalle Sauerland believes KSI’s fight with Jake Paul has the potential to be worth than a fight between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury. A dream undercard between brother Deji and Bieber would result in pay-per-view sales rocketing.
Speaking on the Rils & Wils podcast, Deji was asked about his dream boxing card alongside KSI vs Paul. Deji replied: “Me versus Justin Bieber. That’s a W isn’t it?” The bout could be closer than the Youtuber might think as Bieber has been training for a film about Ukrainian fighter-cum-promoter Dmitry Salita.

Popstar and actor Bieber has been praised by screenwriter Gregory Allen Howard for his skills inside a boxing ring. “From what I’ve seen of Justin Bieber, he has the talent and the boxing skill to crossover from an entertainment background into boxing – he has the ability to become the next Jake Paul,” Howard told Vegas Insider.
“I saw Justin spar and he’s got skills. I’m not telling you he’s ready to be the middleweight champion of the world but he’s not bad. The hard thing in a boxing movie is to move like a boxer.
