YouTube star Jake Paul has taken aim Dana White stating that the UFC president is trying to hurt pay-per-view sales of his fight against Anderson Silva in Arizona next week. Paul had previously upset the UFC chief calling him out over fighter pay and began working towards starting a union for combat athletes.
It is unclear what White has done to annoy the social media personality after previously refusing to entertain any questions about Paul. However, taking to Twitter to voice his frustration, Paul said: “Dana White is doing everything he can to hurt the Anderson Silva PPV promotion. The same Silva he said I would never fight.
“The same Silva he has kept out of UFC Hall of Fame. Just shows how much he fears what I’m doing. Trust me change is coming and we are getting organised.”
Despite being 47 years old former UFC middleweight champion Silva could provide tough opposition for Paul next week. After returning to boxing last year the veteran fighter has won both of his fights including knocking out former UFC world champion Tito Ortiz inside the first round last year.

Silva retired from the UFC in 2020 after a string of defeats and looked a shadow of the fighter who had an unbeaten record between 2006 and 2013. White has previously accused Paul of picking weak opponents which he knows are beatable but thinks that Silva will provide a much tougher test.
He said: “If he’s really fighting Anderson Silva, and that’s true, it’s about time he’s got a real fight on his hands there. Regardless of how old Anderson is, yeah, that’s a real fight.”
