The Rockies on Thursday activated Trevor Story from the 10-day injured list and optioned infielder Alan Trejo to Triple-A Albuquerque following Wednesday night’s game.
The two-time All-Star will play shortstop and bat cleanup against the Marlins in the series finale.
Story, who went on the IL with right elbow inflammation, has struggled at the plate so far this season, hitting .255/.322/.424 with five home runs.
