Bellator MMA returns in a big way later tonight (Fri. April 2) with Bellator 255, which goes done from inside Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., airing on Showtime, as well as on several streaming services for free (like here and here).
Headlining the event will be a 145-pound title bout rematch between division kingpin, Patricio Freire, defending his strap against Emmanuel Sanchez. The bout will also be the last semifinal match in the Featherweight World Grand Prix, with the winner facing A.J. McKee in the finals for a grand prize of $1 million.
In the co-main event, Neiman Gracie will face Jason Jackson in a Welterweight bout, while Tyrell Fortune rematches Jack May in a Heavyweight showdown. In further main card action, Kana Watanabe will make her official debut for Bellator when she faces off against Alejandra Lara in a Flyweight affair.
Plus, Usman Nurmagomedov makes his promotional debut against Mike Hamel, while Roger Huerta returns after an extended hiatus to take on undefeated (5-0) Lightweight prospect Chris Gonzalez.
