Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently held a special pre-fight press conference (watch it) for the upcoming UFC 260: “Miocic vs Ngannou 2” pay-per-view (PPV) event, going down on March 27, 2021, inside UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Taking center stage was Stipe Miocic, who is set to defend his Heavyweight title for the second time against Francis Ngannou. Miocic already has a win over “The Predator,” defeating him at UFC 220 in Jan. 2018. Now, the reigning 265-pound champion looks to put Ngannou in his rear-view mirror — like he did Daniel Cormier — once and for all.

The two big men were the only ones getting media love today due to the fact that the PPV event lost it’s original co-main event between Featherweight champion, Alex Volkanvoski, and Brian Ortega due to COVID-19. The revamped co-headliner will now feature a Welterweight scrap between Tyron Woodley and Vicente Luque.

In further main card action, Sean O’Malley will attempt to get back in the win column when he faces Thomas Almeida, who is currently in the midst of the worst losing streak career with three straight defeats.
