AlphaTauri announced today that they will reveal their challenger for the 2023 Formula 1 season, the AT04 on February 11, 2023.
AlphaTauri confirmed that the AT04 will be launched in an event that will be held in New York, where the team will present their 2023 livery.
The Faenza outfit thus joins Aston Martin and Ferrari in announcing their new car launch dates for the 2023 F1 season, Aston Martin on February 13th, while Ferrari are set for a Valentines Day reveal on February 14th.
The AT04 will be driver by Yuki Tsunoda, and newcomer Nyck de Vries who replaced Pierre Gasly, the Frenchman joining Alpine for 2023.
De Vries impressed at the 2022 Italian Grand Prix at Monza, when he replaced the ill Alex Albon at Williams scoring points and making it into Q2 in qualifying.
AlphaTauri had a disappointing season in 2022, finishing ninth in the F1 Constructors’ Standings only bettering Williams, dropping three places from 2021, but will be looking to improve in 2023 probably using what they learned about the new ground effect regulations.
