The Seattle Storm (9-2) handed the Atlanta Dream (4-6) their fourth-straight loss, 86-75. The victory moves Seattle to 4-0 on the road as they remain the only team yet to lose away from home. Jewell Loyd finished with a game-high 20 points, her sixth game with at least 20 points this season.
The Storm trailed by two at the end of the first quarter, 22-20. With just over eight minutes to play in the second, the Dream would take their final lead of the game, 25-23 after three made shots from the charity stripe by Tiffany Hayes. Hayes finished the game with 11 points and four assists.
The Storm would close the quarter out on a 22-10 run to lead 45-35 at the half. The Dream made just one basket from the field (1-of-14) in the quarter as they scored 11 of their 13 second-quarter points from the free throw line. The scoring throughout the second half was roughly even with the Storm firmly in control. The Dream got as close six points in the third quarter, but would see the deficit swell to 18 points in the final period.
Breanna Stewart recorded her fifth double-double of the season with 18 points and 13 rebounds. Additionally, Epiphanny Prince provided 11 points off the bench. The Storm utilized five offensive rebounds to generate 11 second chance points. One area of improvement has to be turnovers as the Storm committed 12 turnovers that led to 15 points for the Dream. A more offensively potent team could have done more damage.
For Atlanta, Courtney Williams led the team with 19 points and 11 rebounds, her third double-double of the season. However, Williams was 7-of-20 from the floor. Cheyenne Parker, who was playing in her fourth game of the season, had her best game as a member of the Dream with 17 points on 5-of-10 shooting. The Dream shot 36 percent from the floor and were 4-of-18 on 3-point shots. Atlanta did play reasonably well, committing just five turnovers as well as holding the Storm to zero fast break points.
The road trip continues for the Storm in their next game as they will play the Connecticut Sun on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET in a matchup between the top two teams in the league. The Atlanta Dream will look to end their four game losing streak when they face the Washington Mystics on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. ET.

Dallas Wings (5-5) over Phoenix Mercury (5-5), 77-59
The Wings led wire-to-wire, handing Phoenix its second-consecutive loss. Dallas has now won three-straight games. The Wings swept the mini-series 2-0 against the Mercury and won the season series 2-1. Arike Ogunbowale led all scorers with 20 points and was 4-of-7 from beyond the arc.
For Dallas, Satou Sabally was effective, scoring 17 points on 6-of-8 shooting, marking her third double-figure scoring game since her return from Olympic qualifying. Moriah Jefferson scored a season-high 11 points. The Wings were active on the boards, collecting 12 offensive rebounds that led to 17 second chance points.
Brittney Griner led the Mercury with 19 points and six rebounds. Skylar Diggins-Smith scored 11 points but was 4-of-12 from the floor, including 0-of-3 from the 3-point area, which ended her nine-game streak of at least one made 3-pointer. Kia Nurse contributed 10 points but was 2-of-10 shooting. Nurse was 4-of-22 over two games against the Wings. The Mercury were 3-of-20 on 3-point shots and shot just 34.9 percent overall.
Both teams are in action on Sunday as the Wings head to Las Vegas to play the Aces at 6 p.m. ET while the Mercury wrap a four game home stand when they face the New York Liberty at 6 p.m. ET.
